Gabe Kaplan (born Gabriel Weston Kaplan on March 31, 1945) is an American comedian, actor, poker commentator, and professional poker player. He is best known for his role as <a href="https://www.wikiwhat.page/kavramlar/Gabe%20Kotter">Gabe Kotter</a> in the 1970s television sitcom Welcome Back, Kotter.

Kaplan was born in Brooklyn, New York. Before his acting career, he worked as a bellhop and a stand-up comedian. His stand-up routines often centered around his childhood experiences in Brooklyn.
